downthetubes.net is a big site, but we never realised, until recently, just how big – and that's causing us problems. Apparently we've reached some sort of file number limit that's making posting news items on the site an absolute slog.
So, to get around this while we enter the final phase of a behind-the-scenes upgrade, news items will run on this blog first and will be imported to downthetubes later.
You can still access all the downthetubes features on the main site – our Comic Shop Map, the British and Irish Comic Events Guide, our comic features such as The Sevenpenny Nightmare micro site and more – but, for now, they won’t be updated.
Apologies for giving our loyal readers a bit of a runaround, but we don't want to get behind bringing yout the best of the comic news, and I don't want to lose any more hair than I already have when images fail to upload or a post fails to publish!
